"Dammit, Carter, haven't you figured it out yet?"
"Almost, Sir. I'm pretty sure all I need to do is push this lever."
"Then push the sucker, for crying out loud. Geez, what are you waiting for, a marching band and acrobat dwarves?"
"Sorry, Sir. Pushing it now."
"I don't know how this could happen, Sir. I'm sure I got it right."
"Well, obviously not."
"Carter, if you'd got it right, we wouldn't *both* now be suspended...upside down...and now, thanks to you, spinning."
"We don't know for sure that the spinning was down to me."
"Since I wasn't spinning, and now I am, I'd say it was a pretty good bet."
"At least Teal'c should be back soon, I'm sure he can get us down."
"Let's hope so, and before I lose my lunch."
"This weapon appears to be similar to a Goa'uld device I have previously encountered."
"Oh, you think it's a weapon, Teal'c? I thought it was an experiment of some kind. That must be why I...uh..."
"I wouldn't put it quite like that Sir."
"I would. So, Teal'c, you know how to get us down?"
"I believe so, O'Neill."
"Sweet. Get to it."
"I shall release you now, prepare yourselves."
"Oh, for crying out loud."
"I appear to have erred."
"Since I have now joined you in this ignominious position, I do think."
"Sir, we're gyrating now, too."
"Will DanielJackson be returning shortly?"
"Do you not wish to be released, O'Neill."
"Not by Daniel. He'll never let me hear the end of it."
"It would be better than having the General send a rescue team, Sir."
"God...don't even go there."
"Hi, guys, I'm...wow...how did you all get up there?"
"We were hanging around wating for you."
"Very funny, Jack. It's good you can still make jokes with your body contorting like that. God...I can see right up your nose."
"Dammit, Daniel, just you wait 'till I get down from here."
"Teal'c and I were trying to get the Colonel down, but I think we must have done something wrong."
"What did you do?"
"I pulled that red lever."
"And I depressed the yellow orb, DanielJackson."
"Okay, so I won't do either of those things. Jack, what did you do to get up there?"
"Nothing, I did nothing. I was walking along, minding my own business, and bam, here I am."
"Hey, that rhymes. Jokes *and* poetry, Jack. I'm impressed."
"Damn, I knew it, you are *never* going to let me forget this, are you. Carter, what I said about Daniel getting us down being better than Hammond sending in the marines? I lied."
"DanielJackson, do you find this situation amusing?"
"Yes, kind of. It's not like your in any danger or anything. And you do all look pretty funny. Maybe I should take a picture."
"Daniel, a little less conversation, a little more action, or I swear, I will throw up right on your head."
"Sorry, Jack. I just need to finish translating this before I touch anything. I wouldn't want to end up shimying around up there with you all."
"Are you talking about the inscriptions on the casing, Daniel?"
"Yes, that's it Sam. It looks like a form of Phoencian. I'm guessing it's the instructions for this device. I should have you all down in no time."
"I've heard that before, so I won't be holding my breath."
"No, really, Jack, all this is pretty clear."
"At least I'll get the last laugh when you're up here doing an upside down jig with the rest of us."
"Okay got it. First this..."
"We've stopped gyrating Sir."
"We are also no longer spinning, O'Neill."
"Yeah, yeah, he still hasn't got us down, has he?"
"All I have to do is turn this, and you should be lowered gently to the ground...just...like...that. There."
"Holy hannah, that feels good."
"Good job, Daniel."
"No problem, Jack. Happy I could help. Should have taken that picture, though."
"Don't push it Daniel, I'm still giddy, so my gun could very easily go off accidentaly."
"DanielJackson, did your translation reveal the purpose of this weapon?"
"Oh, it's not a weapon, Teal'c."
"Then it's an experiment of some kind, right Daniel?"
"Nope, not that either."
"Alright, Daniel, I'm buying, what the hell is this thing?"
"Uh...sure you want to know?"
"Come on, spill."
"Okay, Jack. It's a carnival ride."
"A carnival ride, you know, like a roller coaster or something. What? Why are you all staring at me like that? Did you not have a good time?"
|Summary:||This is my response to the challenge : a little less conversation, a little more action. As to a synopsis, I don't have one, but it's only short so you might as well read it.|
